DHI-Direct Hair Implantation

DHI stands for “Direct Hair Implantation” and is a special method of hair transplantation. This method works similarly to the traditional FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) hair transplant method. However, DHI hair transplantation uses a technology that allows hair follicles to be transplanted one by one. DHI hair transplantation is an effective option for people who want to find a solution to their hair loss problem.

How is DHI Hair Transplant Performed?

DHI hair transplantation is performed using a special needle and hair transplantation pen. The needle makes a hole in the area to be transplanted and the hair transplant pen takes the hair follicles one by one and places them into the hole. This process makes the hair transplant process more sensitive and less invasive.

DHI hair transplant is different from the traditional FUE hair transplant method in several ways. First of all, the DHI hair transplant technique is faster because the hair follicles do not need to be kept for a while before the hair transplant. In addition, the DHI hair transplant method is a less damaged procedure, so the healing process is shorter and less painful.

Healing Process

The recovery process after DHI hair transplantation may vary from person to person, but it is usually quite short and easy. Immediately after the procedure, small redness and crusting may occur on the scalp of the person. The healing process is usually completed within a few days and people can return to their normal daily activities. However, the full recovery period can range from 6-12 months and it may take some time for results to become visible.
